Roketsan has reached the final phase in the UMTAS Project, the new-generation Long Range Antitank Missile with an imaging infrared (IIR) seeker. Multiple targets were successfully hit during firing tests, on the 2nd and 3rd of July, 2015, at the firing range in Karapınar/Konya, also witnessed by the Chairman and Vice Chairman of Roketsan. The UMTAS Project is in the design verification phase, where system qualification is expected to begin this year.
