Roketsan participated at KADEX 2018 exhibition held in Astana, Kazakhstan, on May 23–26, 2018, for the third time in a row. Delegations from many countries called in to the Roketsan stand, with the most notable being the Prime Minister and Chief of Staff of Kazakhstan, as well as the Turkish Undersecretary for Defense Industries, all of whom received information about the state-of-the art technologies and products being offered by Roketsan. The exhibition also witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between Roketsan and the Kazakhstan Engineering Company of the Kazakhstani Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry for the modernization of 122 mm Grad rockets and the BM-21 MBRL (Multi Barrel Rocket Launcher) system. Witnessed by Prof. Dr. İsmail DEMİR, Undersecretary for Defense Industries, the agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Faruk YİĞİT, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Roketsan.
