Roketsan, Türkiye's missile, rocket and ammunition technologies centre, took its place with its new generation defence systems at Indo Defence, one of the largest defence industry fairs in Southeast Asia, held in Indonesia.
The Indo Defense Expo, organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, brings together many sector players at regional and global levels. The expo, which opened its doors in Indonesia's capital Jakarta between 11-14 June, offers participants a wide range of information and cooperation opportunities on defence technologies, aviation and maritime systems, and security equipment and strategies.
This year, at the Indo Defence Expo, which was held for the 10th time, defence industry companies from Indonesia, Asia Pacific countries and all around the world exhibited their latest technological innovations, while Roketsan, Türkiye's international flag bearer in the defence industry, also took its place at the expo with many systems for air, land and maritime defence.
Mr. Murat İkinci, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Roketsan, said regarding their participation in Indo Defence Expo: “With this expo, we want to further strengthen Roketsan’s long-standing strong bond with Asian countries with new collaborations. Hosted by Indonesia, one of Türkiye’s most important allies in the region, we are flying our flag with our systems, each of which is ahead of its competitors in the world in terms of performance and has proven its success in the field.”
With its experienced team in Indonesia, Roketsan is exhibiting the following munitions to the participants at Indo Defence: MAM-C, MAM-L IIR, MAM-T and İHA-230 Air-to-Surface Ballistic Supersonic Missile from UAV munitions, KARAOK Short-Range Anti-Tank Missile, OMTAS Medium-Range Anti-Tank Missile System and L-UMTAS Laser Guided Long Range Anti-Tank Missile System from anti-tank systems, SUNGUR Air Defence Missile, HİSAR-O Air Defence Missile, SİPER Long-range Air and Missile Defense System, LEVENT Close In Weapon System and Missile and National Vertical Launcher System (MİDLAS) from air defence systems. In addition, the following are among the products that Roketsan exhibited in Indonesia: ÇAKIR Cruise Missile, ATMACA Anti-Ship Missile, TRG-122 Missile, TRLG-230 Missile, TRG-300 Missile, KHAN Missile, TEBER Guidance Kit and BARBAROS Coastal Defense System.
