is a development platform that has been created based on the “Roketsan Competence Model”, featuring a game-changing and exemplary structure

Roketsan Academy operates in three main branches:

MAIN BRANCH OF PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE

Training and development in this branch are focused on technical competencies, and touch upon the tricks of the business that will allow our employees to become experts in their respective fields, to create a common language and to ensure their professional development.

MAIN BRANCH OF INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP

Within this branch, training and development are focused on the behavioral and managerial competencies of all our employees to ensure that they are able to conduct leadership, to ensure managerial development and to strengthen the innovative perspective.

MAIN BRANCH OF SUSTAINABILITY

Within this branch, training and development opportunities and means such as job orientation, regulatory training, internal trainer training and process management tools are offered to all our employees in order to support the corporate culture by promoting a common way of doing business, thus ensuring the sustainability of our company.

• e-Campus

To prepare for the future and to ensure our ability to rapidly adapt to change, we make active use of next-generation learning models through which our employees can gain access to information whenever they need it.

Our digital “e-Campus” learning platform provides full-time information support to our employees, who can gain immediate access training announcements, can benefit from professional development training, and can share their personal knowledge and experiences with each other through the social forums on the platform.

• Roketsan Academy Library

We support all Roketsan employees who have put their signature on innovative works by providing them with any scientific documents and information that they may need within the process, providing them with access to both domestic and foreign and printed and electronic resources in the shortest time, and through reliable portals.

• mtRS Program

The leaders of the future thrive at Roketsan!

The TEGEP Learning and Development Awards are organized by the Turkey Training and Development Platform (TEGEP), aiming to supporting studies carried out by companies in the education and development field, to ensure the visibility of the assets created, and to reward these works as successfully implemented activities. At the 2018 event, we were proud and happy to receive an award in the “Leadership and Management Development Program Category” for our “mtRS Program”, which was launched under the Roketsan Academy Main Branch of Innovative Leadership, and aims to develop and train the potential candidates as managers who can manage rapid growth and the production of advanced technologies with an agile and visionary approach.

*mtRS: This stands for more than Rocket Science and Roketsan’s Management Trainees.

We learn together…

Roketsan Academy attributes significant importance to ensuring the sustainability of its activities by ensuring learning and development activities are focused on benefit and results.

To this end, we apply an “Inhouse Trainer and Field Expertise Program” with the aim of:

• Enriching our corporate memory through the intergenerational transfer of knowledge and experience within the organization,
• Strengthening the individual learning and continuous learning approach, especially in the development of competences,
• Creating an environment in which there is a culture of learning from each other and developing in unison.

In this program, in which our employees participate on a voluntary basis in the selection, evaluation and development processes for which the standards are defined, they can take on the roles of “Inhouse Trainers” by providing in-house training to other employees on a subject in which they are experts, and of “Field Experts” through the preparation, updating and direction of internal training in fields in which they have accumulated expertise.
